I sing the mighty power of God that made the mountains rise, That spread the flowing seas abroad, and built the lofty skies.
Isaac Watts, 1715

First Congregational Church has a long-standing tradition of fine sacred music. The spiritual power of music enriches our life and worship as a faith community.

All choirs are made up of volunteers from our congregation. We have opportunities for volunteers of all ages and levels of commitment. These groups and ensembles meet throughout the church year, September – mid-June. There is also music provided on a less formal basis during our Summer Worship Services.

Sanctuary Instruments: The First Congregational Church has two wonderful instruments in the sanctuary. The organ is a Holtkamp tracker organ installed in 1981. There is also a Young Chang grand piano.
